Abstract

This study examines the influence of transformational leadership and career development on employee performance, with organizational culture as an intervening variable at the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRK) of Bener Meriah Regency. The research used primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 48 respondents who are employees at the DPRK office of Bener Meriah Regency. The sampling method employed used is the Census. Data analysis used is Path Analysis with the assistance of SPSS. The research findings indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant influence on organizational culture, whereas career development affects organizational culture. Transformational leadership also positively and significantly impacts employee performance, and career development similarly affects employee performance at the DPRK office of Bener Meriah Regency. Organizational culture positively and significantly influences employee performance. Furthermore, organizational culture partially mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance at the DPRK office of Bener Meriah Regency. Similarly, organizational culture partially mediates the relationship between career development and employee performance at the DPRK office of Bener Meriah Regency.
