Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze Islamic financial literacy and income on CWLS waqf intentions with religiosity as a mediating variable. Quantitative approach, data collection via google form. SmartPLS 4.0 (Partial Least Square) analysis with intervening effect test. The analysis model includes; 1) evaluation of the measurement model (outer model test, discriminant validity test (Fornell & Lacker, HTMT, and cross loading), reliability test and average variance extracted); 2) evaluation of the structural model (Inner VIF, Path Coefficient Significance Test, 95% confidence interval, effect size F Square and Upsilon V); 3) evaluate the fit model (R Square, Q Square, SRMR, Goodness of Fit, PLS Predict, Robustness Check and FIMIX PLS). Data acquisition from CWLS-Retail from 2020 to 2022 is ongoing and the samples taken in this study are 100 waqifs registered with the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI). The unique analytical approach uses PLS Predict for the best research results. The results of this study indicate that the effect of mediation (H6) is full mediation and (H7) Partial Mediation. Other results show; 1) LKS Has a Negative and Not Significant Effect on IB. However, the fact is that even though Islamic financial literacy has no effect, there are still trustees who are committed to intending to donate through the CWLS program because they already know the benefits and objectives related to the CWLS program. 2) LKS has a significant effect on RG. the higher the level of literacy possessed, the higher the possibility of understanding religiosity. 3) PD has a positive and significant effect on AI. the higher a person's income, the higher his intention to donate assets through the waqf program at the CWLS. 4) PD has a positive and significant effect on AI. 5) RG has a positive and significant effect on IB. the higher a person's religiosity, the higher the possibility of waqf through CWLS. 6) RG is able to significantly and positively mediation the effect of LKS on IB. the higher the level of religiosity possessed by a trustee, the stronger the effect of Islamic financial literacy on waqf intentions. 7) RG is able to significantly and positively mediation the effect of PD on IB. the higher the level of religiosity possessed by a trustee, the stronger the influence of income on waqf intentions through the CWLS program. Other findings show that RG has a stronger effect as a reinforcement of waqf intentions. In addition, the findings also show that the trend of CWLS waqf changes how trustees express their literacy, income and religiosity. The strong results are evidenced by the high predictive power of the model. For future researchers, it is suggested to examine more deeply the indicators of religiosity because there are descriptions of more than 69 indicators and relate them to other variables such as transparency, accountability, altruism, gender, knowledge and level of education. The sample must also cover several provinces in Indonesia because the CWLS program has a national impact.
