Abstract

This research aims to determine the description of happiness among Japanese anime fan students at Malikussaleh University. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach, namely using univariate analysis by describing the level of happiness based on aspects of happiness, namely establishing positive relationships, full involvement, finding meaning in life, being optimistic but remaining realistic, being a resilient person. The subjects in this research were three hundred and eighty five Malikussaleh University students who were obtained based on incidental sampling. The research results showed that 35.3% were happy, meaning the happiness of Japanese anime fan students who were able to apply five aspects, namely establishing positive relationships, full involvement, finding meaning in life, being optimistic but remaining realistic, and finally the aspect of being a resilient person.
