Abstract

ABSTRAK Lola Amanda: Ekranisasi Novel Balada Si Roy Karya Gol A Gong ke Bentuk Film Balada Si Roy Karya Fajar Nugros. Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia FKIP Universitas Malikussaleh, 2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aspek penciutan, penambahan, dan perubahan bervariasi tokoh, alur, dan latar pada novel dan film Balada Si Roy. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini yaitu ungkapan atau pernyataan adalah kata, kalimat, dan paragraf yang menggambarkan tokoh, alur, dan latar. Sumber datanya adalah novel Balada Si Roy karya Gol A Gong dan film Balada Si Roy karya Fajar Nugros. Analisis data dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah berikut (1) membaca novel Balada Si Roy, (2) mencatat isi novel Balada Si Roy yang mengandung unsur penciutan, penambahan, dan perubahan bervariasi pada tokoh, alur, dan latar, (3) menonton film Balada Si Roy, (4) mencatat isi film Balada Si Roy yang mengandung unsur penciutan, penambahan, dan perubahan bervariasi pada tokoh, alur, dan latar (5) membandingkan catatan novel dan film Balada Si Roy, dan (6) mengklasifikasikan data-data ke dalam tabel. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa ekranisasi yang terjadi dalam novel dan film Balada Si Roy yakni penciutan, penambahan, dan perubahan bervariasi yang berjumlah 39 data. Dalam penciutan ditemukan adanya 22 data yakni 12 data penciutan tokoh, 6 data penciutan alur, dan 4 data penciutan latar. Selanjutnya penambahan ditemukan sebanyak 10 data yakni 5 data penambahan tokoh, 3 data penambahan alur, dan 2 data penambahan latar. Sementara itu, perubahan bervariasi ditemukan sebanyak 7 data yakni 1 data perubahan bervariasi tokoh, 4 data perubahan bervariasi alur, dan 2 data perubahan bervariasi latar. This study aims to describe aspects of reduction, addition, and various changes in characters, plot, and setting in the novel and film Balada Si Roy. The type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research data consists of expressions or statements in the form of words, sentences, and paragraphs that describe the characters, plot, and setting. The sources of the data are the novel Balada Si Roy by Gol A Gong and the film Balada Si Roy by Fajar Nugros. Data analysis was carried out with the following steps: (1) reading the novel Balada Si Roy, (2) noting the contents of the novel Balada Si Roy that contain elements of reduction, addition, and various changes in characters, plot, and setting, (3) watching the film Balada Si Roy, (4) noting the contents of the film Balada Si Roy that contain elements of reduction, addition, and various changes in characters, plot, and setting, (5) comparing the notes from the novel and the film Balada Si Roy, and (6) classifying the data into tables. The results of the study found that the adaptation that occurred in the novel and film Balada Si Roy includes 39 data points of reduction, addition, and various changes. In terms of reduction, 22 data points were found: 12 data points for character reduction, 6 data points for plot reduction, and 4 data points for setting reduction. Furthermore, 10 data points were found for addition: 5 data points for character addition, 3 data points for plot addition, and 2 data points for setting addition. Meanwhile, 7 data points were found for various changes: 1 data point for character change, 4 data points for plot change, and 2 data points for setting change.
