Abstract

MSMEs in Lhokseumawe have developed very rapidly, various changes have emerged which are presented to customers. Both sales changes from the offline system to the online system as well as changes to the payment system. Apart from that, the products currently presented are also diverse. The development of MSMEs needs to receive great attention, so that they can develop more competitively with other economic players. This requires good MSME performance such as innovation, digital marketing and a reliable marketing mix. MSMEs are experiencing a significant increase in the use of technology, both from social media, marketplaces and others. However, the digital technology used by micro, small and medium enterprises in Lhokseumawe City experiences several obstacles related to digitalization or the promotion process, including a lack of understanding of digital marketing promotion techniques, determining consumer targets with digital media, this lack of understanding affects the ability to use online platform effectively to promote products, lack of understanding of how to edit becomes an obstacle, difficulty in producing appropriate and attractive designs to upload, limited time in the social media management process, there are also entrepreneurs who are in the process of searching for admins or competent individuals to managing social media such as photographing products, uploading content, and others. Researchers use the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method because this method is relatively easy to assess, each criterion or attribute is assessed using a predetermined scale. This system can help produce an appropriate Decision Support System. The results of this research are that there are 14 MSMEs that are suitable for the digital era, namely those with a final score above 50 and MSMEs below 50 are MSMEs that are not suitable for the digital era based on predetermined criteria.
