Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian yang berjudul "Komunikasi persuasif guru dalam proses pendampingan belajar pada anak berkebutuhan khusus tunawicara, studi kasus di SDLB Tanjungbalai" Komunikasi persuasif adalah Komunikasiyang bersifat mempengaruhi tindakan, perilaku, pikiran dan pendapat tanpa ada paksaan baik fisik maupun nonfisik. Guru sebagai komunikator berusaha mempengaruhi siswa sebagai komunikan dengan cara mengubah pikiran dan tindakannya, tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui fungsi komunikasi persuasif dari peran guru dalam kegiatan proses belajar mengajar yang siap mempengaruhi peserta didik (siswa) secara menyeluruh, komunikasi persuasif yang diterapkan guru diharapkan mampu diserap siswa sehingga tujuan dari komunikasi persuasif dapat berhasil dalam penampingan belajar siswa tunawicara. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi yaitu pengumpulan data serta studi keperpustakaan, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah melalui tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses komunikasi persuasif yang terjadi antara guru dan siswa tunawicara di SDLB Tanjungbalai mampu menerapkan seperti menurut dari ahli De vito yaitu mengubah atau menguatkan keyakinan (believe) dan sikap (attitude) audiens, dan mendorong audiens melakukan sesuatu atau memiliki tingkah laku (behaviour) tertentu yang diharapkan, karena pengajaran yang menggunakan komunikasi persuasif lebih memudahkan guru untuk berkomunikasi dengan siswa tunawicara, sehingga adanya komunikasi ini guru dapat mengetahui kemampuan pesartadidiknya dan memberikan meteri belajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan setiap personalnya. Hasil itu terlihat dari proses wawancara dan pengamatan langsung di lapangan, sehingga hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pembelajaran yang diberikan guru untuk mencapai titik keberhasilan sesuai dengan proses belajar mengajar yang diterapkan disekolah tersebut demi mencapai tujuan dari proses pembelajaran Kata Kunci : Komunikasi Persuasif, Guru, Siswa Tunawicara, SDLB Negeri No:137711 Kota Tanjungbalai ABSTRACT Research entitled "Persuasive communication of teachers in the process of learning assistance to children with special needs of speech impaired, case study at SDLB Tanjungbalai" Persuasive communication is communication that is influencing actions, behavior, thoughts and opinions without any coercion either physical or non-physical. Teachers as communicators try to influence students as communicators by changing their thoughts and actions, the purpose of the research is to find out the persuasive communication function of the teacher's role in the teaching and learning process activities that are ready to influence learners (students) as a whole, persuasive communication applied by teachers is expected to be absorbed by students so that the purpose of persuasive communication can be successful in learning assistance for students with speech impairment.In this study using qualitative methods that are descriptive, with data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation, namely data collection and library studies, while the data analysis techniques used are through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the persuasive communication process that occurs between teachers and students with speech impairment in SDLB Tanjungbalai is able to apply as according to Devito's expert, namely changing or strengthening the beliefs and attitudes of the audience, and encouraging the audience to do something or have certain expected behaviors, because teaching using persuasive communication makes it easier for teachers to communicate with students with speech impairment, the results of this study show that the learning provided by the teacher to reach the point of success in accordance with the teaching and learning process applied at the school in order to achieve the goals of the learning process.
