Abstract

ABSTRACT Muhammad Syahputra ND, NIM 170320092 (2021), “Market Structure Analysis in Palm Oil Marketing in Sido Mulyo Village, Kuta Makmur District, North Aceh Regency. With Supervisor I Mr. Muhammad Autar ND, S.P, M.P And Mrs. Martina S.P, M.Si Aceh province is one of the largest palm oil producers in the Sumatra region. One of the centers of oil palm plantations in Aceh is in the district of North Aceh. It has a land area of 18,054 ha with a total production of 187,308 tons. The management of the gardens carried out by the community in Sido Mulyo Village is carried out independently with their own funds and their own efforts starting from the procurement of production facilities and infrastructure with very limited capital. Farmers cooperate through marketing agencies or intermediary traders. In fact, in the Sido Mulyo field there are 10 hamlets, one of which is Alue mbang sp III hamlet, there is a difference in the selling price of farmers to collector 1 of Rp. 1600/kg and farmer to trader of collectors 2 of Rp. 1550/kg. palm oil is determined by the buyer/intermediary. This study aims to determine the marketing system and analyze the market structure of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) in Sidomulyo Village, Kuta Prosperous District, North Aceh Regency. This type of research uses primary data and secondary data. This research was selected using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used is observation and interviews based on interview guides. The results of the recapitulation of market share calculations show that at the village level, there are 8 traders, total purchases are 32,700/kg with 67% kr and the market structure is oligopsony with tight concentration. Meanwhile, at the village level, there are 4 traders, total purchases are 73,000/kg with kr 76% and the market structure is oligopsony with tight concentration.
