Abstract

ABSTRAK ZIKRATUL AHYA: Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Diskursus Multi Representasi Berbantuan GeoGebra Terhadap Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Siswa Di SMA Negeri 1 Muara Batu. Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Malikussaleh, 2025. Rendahnya kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dan kurangnya pemamfaatan teknologi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran matematika menjadi fokus utama dalam penelitian ini. Permasalahan tersebut teridentifikasi melalui wawancara dan observasi yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal yang menuntut kemampuan representasi matematis. Demikian diberikan solusi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Diskursus Multi Representasi berbantuan GeoGebra yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Diskursus Multi Representasi berbantuan GeoGebra terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif yang berjenis eksperimen dengan menggunakan quasi experimental design dan desain Nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Muara Batu, sedangkan sampel terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu X/4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X/6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Sampel tersebut dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan representasi matematis dan lembar observasi guru dan siswa. Pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji non-parametrik (MannWhitney U Test) karena data yang diperoleh tidak berdistribusi normal, dan seluruh proses analisis data tersebut dilakukan dengan bantuan Software SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 0.05, sehingga ditolak dan diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari model pembelajaran Diskursus Multi Representasi berbantuan Geogebra terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Muara Batu. The low level of students’ mathematical representation ability and the limited use of technology in mathematics learning activities became the main focus of this study. These problems were identified through interviews and classroom observations, which revealed that students still face difficulties in solving problems that require mathematical representation skills. As a solution, this study implemented the Multi-Representation Discourse (MRD) learning model assisted by GeoGebra with the aim of investigating the effect of this model on students’ mathematical representation abilities. This research employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The population consisted of all Grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Muara Batu, with the sample selected purposively, comprising two classes: Class X/4 as the experimental group and Class X/6 as the control group. The research instruments included a mathematical representation ability test and observation sheets for teachers and students. Hypothesis testing was carried out using SPSS 25 software with the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U Test, as the data were not normally distributed. The results of the study indicated that the significance value of Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05, leading to the rejection of H₀ and the acceptance of H₁. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Multi-Representation Discourse learning model assisted by GeoGebra has a significant effect on students’ mathematical representation abilities at SMA Negeri 1 Muara Batu.
