Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self confidence dengan perencanaan karir pada mahasiswa yang pernah mengikuti program MSIB. Penelitian ini menggunkan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Data diperoleh melalui kuisioner. Instrumen yang digunkan berupa skala self confidence (28 item, α = 0,920) dan skala perencanaan karir (46 item, α= 0,947). Subjek penelitian berjumlah 189 mahasiswa yang pernah mengikuti program MSIB yang dipilih menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji korelasi spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara self confidence dengan perencanaan karir. Artinya semakin tinggi self confidence, maka semakin tinggi tingkat perencanaan karir, dan sebaliknya. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya self confidence untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam merencanakan karirnya. Kata kunci : mahasiswa MSIB, perencanaan karir, self confidence vi ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and career planning among students who have participated in the MSIB program. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlation approach. Data were collected through a questionnaire. The measurement tools used were the self-confidence scale (28 items, α = 0.920) and the career planning scale (46 items, α = 0.947). The study sample consisted of 189 students who had participated in the MSIB program, selected using a snowball sampling specific technique. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman correlation test. The results of the study indicate a significant positive correlation between self-confidence and career planning. This means that the higher the level of self-confidence, the higher the level of career planning, and vice versa. This finding highlights the importance of self-confidence in helping students plan their careers. Keywords: career planning, self-confidence, students MSIB
