Abstract

ABSTRAK Rezeki Trisnayani: Pengaruh Model Self Regulated Learning Terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa Dalam Menyelesaikan Masalah Aljabar. Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Malikussaleh, 2025 Penyebab rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa antara lain yaitu penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional yang monoton dan bersifat langsung/ceramah, dimana peran guru lebih aktif dibandingkan peserta didik. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu solusi untuk mengatasinya yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang lebih menyenangkan bagi peserta didik sehingga dapat melibatkan peserta didik secara aktif langsung dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satunya adalah menggunakan model Self Regulated Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Self Regulated Learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Quasi Experiment dengan desain Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Lhokseumawe. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive Sampling, dimana kelas VIII-2 sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan kelas VIII-1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Sampel kelas eksperimen terdiri dari 22 peserta didik sedangkan sampel kelas kontrol terdiri dari 24 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan uji Normalitas yaitu uji Shapiro Wilk, uji homogenitas menggunakan uji Levene Statistic, dan uji MannWhitney berbantuan Software SPSS versi 21. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney didapatkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,022 < α (α = 0,05), yang menunjukan terdapat pengaruh model Self Regulated Learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Malikussaleh University FKIP Mathematics Education Study Program, 2025. The cause of the low ability to understand students' mathematical concepts includes the use of conventional learning models that are monotonous and direct / lecture, where the teacher's role is more active than students. Therefore, a solution is needed to overcome it, namely by applying a learning model that is more fun for students so that it can involve students actively directly in the learning process. One of them is using the Self Regulated Learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of the Self Regulated Learning model on students' mathematical concept understanding ability. This research uses the type of Quasi Experiment with Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were all VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Lhokseumawe. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique, where class VIII.2 as the experimental class and class VIII-1 as the control class. The experimental class sample consisted of 22 students while the control class sample consisted of 24 students. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the Mann-Whitney test, a significant value of 0.022 < α (α = 0.05) is obtained, which shows that there is an effect of the Self Regulated Learning model on students' mathematical concept understanding abilities.
