Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan numerasi siswa disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, antaranya ketidakterbiasaan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal berbentuk cerita, model pembelajaram masih menggunakan model konvensional serta minimnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan model pembelajaran serta media pembelajaran yang mampu mengembangkan kemampuan numerasi siswa, salah satunya yaitu model pembelajaran Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending berbantuan media Wordwall. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh model pembelajaran Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending Berbantuan Media Wordwall Terhadap Kemampuan Numerasi Siswa di SMAN 1 Kuta Makmur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Experiment serta desain penelitian The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Kuta Makmur. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, di mana kelas XI A1 terpilih sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI A2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Setiap kelas sampel terdiri dari 21 siswa. Teknik Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes. Pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas yaitu uji Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas menggunakan uji Levene Statistic dan uji Mann-Whitney dengan berbantuan software SPSS 25. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney didapatkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,002 <α (α=0,05). Berdasarkan kriteria uji hipotesis, maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending Berbantuan Media Wordwall Terhadap Kemampuan Numerasi Siswa di SMAN 1 Kuta Makmur. Hal ini menujukkan bahwa kemampuan numerasi siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol. The low level of students’ numeracy skills is caused by several factors, including their unfamiliarity with solving story-based problems, the continued use of conventional learning models, and the limited utilization of instructional media. Therefore, a learning model and media that can enhance students’ numeracy skills are needed. One such model is the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending learning model assisted by Wordwall media. This study aims to identify the effect of the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending learning model assisted by Wordwall media on students’ numeracy skills at SMAN 1 Kuta Makmur. This research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach and used the Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population consisted of all eleventh-grade students at SMAN 1 Kuta Makmur. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with class XI A1 selected as the experimental group and class XI A2 as the control group. Each sample class consisted of 21 students. Data were collected through observation and tests. Hypothesis testing in this study involved the Shapiro-Wilk test for normality, the Levene’s test for homogeneity, and the Mann-Whitney test, all conducted with the help of SPSS 25 software. Based on the Mann-Whitney test results, the significance value obtained was 0.002 < α (α = 0.05). According to the hypothesis testing criteria, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending learning model assisted by Wordwall media on students’ numeracy skills at SMAN 1 Kuta Makmur. This indicates that the numeracy skills of students in the experimental class are better than those in the control class.
