Abstract
ABSTRACT Fishermen in Indonesia are generally individuals involved in fishing activities, including catching fish and other aquatic animals. Fishermen in Bangka Jaya Village, Aceh Utara District, mostly reside in government-assisted houses that are still very modest. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of capital, labor, travel distance to fishing grounds, experience, and fishing frequency on the income of fishermen in Bangka Jaya Village. The method used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression. The analysis results show that the Adjusted R Square value is 0.859, indicating that all independent variables—capital, labor, travel distance, experience, and fishing frequency—collectively affect the dependent variable, which is income, by 85.9%, while the remaining 14.1% of fishermen's income is influenced by factors outside the scope of this study. The factors that significantly influence fishermen's income include capital, labor, experience, and fishing frequency, while travel distance has no significant effect on income. Keywords: Fisherman, income, significant
