Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was carried out at the brown sugar business in Tanjung Alam village, Sei Dadap sub-district, Asahan district. The purpose of this research is to analyze income and added value in the Brown Sugar Cane Sugar business. This research uses quantitative analysis. The data analysis method used is income analysis and the Hayami value added analysis method. The research results show the costs incurred for the brown sugar business where the total costs incurred to produce brown sugar are Rp. 1,964,522.92.- per production with income of Rp. 2,700,000.- per production, resulting in a profit of Rp. 735,477.08.- per production. The added value obtained is IDR. 1,280.- with a value added ratio of 59.27%. The added value shows a high ratio because it is >40%. Keywords: Brown sugar, income, value added
