Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kelayakan dan respon siswa terhadap media. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Borg and Galldengan tahapan penelitian atau pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan draf produk awal, uji coba lapangan awal, reisi hasil uji coba, uji coba produk kedua dan revisi produk.Uji kelayakan media dilaksanakan berdasarkan validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Kemudian uji kelayakan pada empat guru mata pelajaran kimia yang tedapat pada tiga sekolah yaitu 1 guru dari SMA Negeri 1 Baktiya, 1 guru dari SMA Negeri 2Seunudon dan 2 guru SMA Negeri 1 Syamtalira Aron. Kemudian dilakukan uji respon siswa sebanyak 60 siswa dari 3 sekolah tersebut untuk melihat respon siswa terhadap media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) dari hasil validasi ahli media diketahui bahwa jumlah skor yang diperoleh adalah sebanyak 105 dengan rerata skor sebanyak 4 dengan kategori “ baik”, (2) dari hasil validasi ahli materi diketahui bahwa jumlah skor yang diperoleh adalah sebanyak 117 dengan rerata skor sebanyak 3,8 dengan kategori “ baik”, (3) dari hasil uji kelayakan menunjukan bahwa jumlah skor s rata-rata adalah sebanyak 3,9 dengan kategori “ baik”, (4) dari hasil respon siswa menunjukan bahwa jumlah skor rata-rata adalah sebanyak 4,2 dengan kategori “baik”. Untuk hasil keseluruhan dapat dinyatakan memiliki tingkat kelayakan yang baik untuk digunakan pada siswa kelas XI SMA. Kata kunci: Borg and Gall, modul kimia, media pembelajaran ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the feasibility and students' responses to the media. The development model used is Borg and Gall with the stages of research or data collection, planning, development of initial product drafts, initial field trials, trial results receipts, second product trials and product revisions. The media feasibility test is carried out based on validation by media experts and material experts. Then the feasibility test was carried out on four chemistry subject teachers in three schools, namely 1 teacher from Baktiya 1 Public High School, 1 teacher from Seunudon 2 Public High School and 2 SyamtaliraAron 1 Public High School teachers. Then a student response test was carried out by 60 students from the 3 schools to see student responses to the media. The results showed that (1) from the validation results of media experts it was found that the total score obtained was 105 with an average score of 4 in the "good" category, (2) from the validation results of material experts it was known that the total score obtained was 117 with the average score is 3.8 in the "good" category, (3) the results of the due diligence test show that the average total score is 3.9 in the "good" category, (4) the results of student responses show that the average score - the average is as much as 4.2 with the "good" category. For the overall results it can be stated that it has a good level of eligibility for use in class XI SMA students. Keywords: Borg and Gall, chemistry module, learning media
