Abstract

Fitra Juanda. Analysis of Oceanographic Parameters for Suitability of Lancok Beach Tourism Bayu District North Aceh Regency Aceh Province. Guided by Mr. Yudho Andika, S.Kel., M.Si and Mr. Imamshadiqin, S.Pi., M.Si. Lancok Beach is on the northeastern coast of Bayu Aceh Utara District. This beach has long developed into a beach tourist location that has beautiful views with a cool atmosphere and has huts as a place to shelter and relax. It is feared that the large number of visitors will affect comfort and safety, so it is necessary to develop more optimal tourism, one of which is analyzing coastal oceanographic parameters. Sampling used the purposive sampling method. Analysis of the oceanographic parameters measured include beach type, beach width, accessibility, water depth, current speed, beach slope, water brightness, coastal land cover, dangerous biota and fresh water availability. The results of measuring oceanographic parameters for tourism suitability are 83.33% which is in the very suitable category (S1). The parameters that fall into the appropriate or good enough category are the beach slope parameters with an average at high tide, namely 16.83o and at low tide, namely 16.95o, then the brightness of the waters with an average at high tide, namely 59.33cm and at low tide, namely 52cm. Parameters that are categorized as conditionally appropriate or in conditional good condition are the type of beach with black sand that contains rubbish.
