Abstract
ABSTRACT Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) is one of the vegetable fruit crops that has an important role in Indonesia and widely favoured by the public. The decline in tomato plant productivity is caused by a decrease in soil fertility. to improve the quality and quantity of tomato plants is by applying organic fertilizer. The types of organic fertilizers used are coffee grounds compost and vegetable waste liquid organic fertilizer. The aim is to determine the effect of coffee grounds compost and vegetable waste liquid organic fertilizer and their interaction on the growth and production of tomato plants. The research was conducted in Paloh Lada Village, Dewantara District, North Aceh Regency. From March to May 2024. This study used Factorial Randomized Blok Design (RBD) with three replications. The first factor is coffee grounds compost consisting of (K0) 0 kg/plot, (K1) 1.6 kg/plot, (K2) 3.2 kg/plot. The second factor is vegetable waste liquid organic fertilizer consisting of (P0) 0 ml/l, (P1) 275 ml/l, (P2) 550 ml/l. The results showed that the use of coffee grounds compost had a significant effect on the variables of plant height, stem diameter, flowering age and fruit diameter. The application of vegetable waste liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect on the variables of plant height, stem diameter, chlorophyll content and flowering age. There was no interaction between the treatment of coffee grounds compost and vegetable waste liquid organic fertilizer. The best treatment was obtained at 3.2 kg/plot coffee grounds compost + 275 ml/l vegetable waste liquid organic fertilizer. Keywords: Dosage, organic, servo F1, Coffee ground
