Abstract

ABSTRACT Based on its natural conditions, Indonesia's coastline is approximately 108,000 km2 and is lovely used as a basis for fishing economic activities. One of the fishing potential that can be developed in Indonesia is in the Aceh region. North Aceh is a county located in the province of Aceh, Indonesia. Most of the settlements in northern Aceh are on the coastline and are potentially a shrub cultivation area, where most of the shrubfarmers cultivate the vanamei shrubs with intensive cultivation techniques, one of the few districts in the Northern Aceh district that produces the Vanamei straw permanently is the Dewantara district. The study aims to analyze the efficiency of the factors that influence the production of vanamei shrimp in Dewantara district of North Aceh. The data analysis method used in this study is to use double regression analysis with a cobb-douglas production function approach and an allocative efficiency analysis of factors affecting production. The results of this study indicate that the combined area of land, seedlings, feed and labor has a significant influence on the production of vanamei shrimp. The partially significant variable that influences the production is seed and feed, while the size of land and labour influences are not significant to the production. Keywords: Intense vanamei shrimp, production factor, allocative efficiency.
