Abstract

North Aceh is one of the districts in Aceh Province which has great potential in the maritime and fisheries sector. The Marine and Fisheries Service (DKP) of North Aceh Regency every year records a large volume of fish catches, reaching tens of thousands of tons with 74 fish divided into 3 types of fish, namely pelagic fish, damersal fish and coral fish spread over 8 sub-district which is a coastal area in North Aceh Regency. This research aims to group types of capture fishery products based on the amount of marine fishery production in 8 sub-districts in North Aceh Regency which are coastal areas using the K-Means Clustering data mining method through the use of web gis. Based on the results of the tests carried out, the application of the K-Means Clustering algorithm can be implemented in grouping types of fish catches in North Aceh Regency with the results obtained, for pelagic fish types 31 fish are classified into category C1, 4 fish are classified into category C2 and 1 fish belongs to category C2. For dammersial fish, 13 fish are classified into category C1, 17 fish are classified as category C2 and 2 fish are classified as category C3. For coral fish, 2 fish belong to category C1, 3 fish belong to category C2 and 1 fish belongs to category C3. Keywords: K-Means Clustering, Data Mining, Web Gis
