Abstract
This research aims to provide information about the effects of concentration of coconut water and soaking time treatment coconut water on expired long bean seeds. This research was conducted at Kuta Blang Village, Banda Sakti Sub- District, Lhokseumawe City and in the agriculture faculty of laboratory of Reuleut East Village, Muara Batu Sub-District, Nort Aceh District from September to October 2023, using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) Factorial with 2 factors and 3 replicates. The first factor was coconut water concentration of K0 : 0% (100 ml aquades), K1 : 25% (25 ml coconut water + 75 ml aquades), K2 : 50% (50 ml coconut water + 50 ml aquades). The second factor was the length of soaking of P0 : Soaking time 0 hour, P1 : Soaking time 12 hour, P2 : Soaking time 24 hour. The results of the study showed that coconut water concentration significantly influenced seedviability and vigor in all variables. The best concentration of coconut water is at a concentration of 50%. Different soaking time treatments can increase germinator in all observation variabels. The best soaking time treatment was found in coconut water soaking using the F&F.
