Abstract

ABSTRACT Freshwater tambaqui (Colssoma macropomum) is a fish that is economically important and easy to cultured. Increasing tambaqui cultivation production causes an increase in feed requirements. The requirement for optimal feed protein content ranges from 25 to 37%, however feed with high protein is expensive.Therefore, there is a need for alternative feed made from vegetable and animal raw materials that are cheap and easy to obtain and have high protein to tambaqui. Some of that have great potential to meet these needs are kepok banana peel and silage which has a protein content of 29.86% in dry feed.This research aims to determine the best protein content according to the addition of kepok banana peel flour and trash fish silage in artificial feed on the growth rate of freshwater tambaqui. This research was carried out from January to February 2024 at the Hatchery and Cultivation Technology Laboratory, Aquaculture Study Program and proximate analysis carried out at the Balai Standarisasi dan Pelayanan Jasa Industri Banda Aceh (BSPJI). This research used an experimental method using a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment A (commercial), feed B (kepok banana peel flour + 25% silage), treatment C (15% kepok banana peel flour + 25% silage), treatment D (25% kepok banana peel flour + silage 25%). Based on the results of the F test (ANOVA), the results showed a significant effect on weight gain, length increase, feed conversion ratio, survival rate, fish response to feed, organoleptic tests. The best h results were in treatment D with a weight of 1.93 grams and a length of 1.63 cm, FCR value of 1.58, very brown color with a very strong aroma and SR 96.66% also feed response of 2 minutes 44 seconds. The results of water quality measurements during the research were with a temperature range of 27.10C -29.40C, dissolved oxygen 4.8-5.1 ppm and pH 7.1-8.3. Keywords: Tambaqui, Banana peel, Silage, Feed, Growth ABSTRAK Ikan bawal air tawar (Colossoma macropomum) merupakan ikan yang relatif kebal terhadap penyakit, nafsu makan tinggi, pertumbuhannya cepat, ekonomis penting dan tidak terlalu sulit untuk, peningkatan produksi budidaya ikan bawal menyebabkan peningkatan kebutuhan pakan. Kebutuhan kadar protein pakan optimal berkisar antara 25 sampai 37%, namun pakan dengan protein tinggi memiliki harga yang mahal. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkannya pakan alternatif berbahan baku nabati dan hewani yang murah dan mudah didapat serta memiliki protein yang tinggi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ikan bawal. Bahan yang sangat potensial untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut adalah kulit pisang kepok dan silase ikan rucah yang memiliki kadar protein 29,86% dalam pakan kering. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar protein terbaik yang sesuai penambahan tepung kulit pisang kepok dan silase ikan rucah dalam pakan buatan terhadap laju pertumbuhan ikan bawal air tawar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai Februari 2024 di Laboratorium Hatchery dan Teknologi Budidaya, Program Studi Akuakultur dan Uji proksimat dilakukan di Balai Standarisasi dan Pelayanan Jasa Industri Banda Aceh (BSPJI). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan A (komersil), B (tepung kulit pisang kepok + silase ikan rucah 25%), perlakuan C (tepung kulit pisang kepok 15% + silase ikan rucah 25%), perlakuan D (tepung kulit pisang kepok 25% + silase ikan rucah 25%). Berdasarkan hasil uji F (ANOVA) memberikan hasil berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertambahan bobot, pertambahan panjang, rasio konversi pakan, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, respon ikan terhadap pakan, uji organoleptik. Hasil penelitian terbaik pada perlakuan D dengan bobot 1,93 gram dan panjang 1,63 cm, dengan nilai FCR 1,58 berwarna sangat coklat dengan aroma sangat menyengat dan nilai SR 96,66% serta respon pakan selama2 menit 44 detik dengan nilai kadar protein 29,86%. Hasil pengukuran kualitas air selama penelitian dengan nilai kisaran suhu 27,1oC-29,4oC, kandungan oksigen terlarut 4,8-5,1 ppm dan pH 7,1-8,3.
