Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country with various kinds of abundant natural resource potential. Indonesia's natural resources and environmental services are very potential both on land and sea, especially for tourism purposes. Beach tourism is one of the tourism activities that has activities related to the marine or marine world, containing several elements, namely travel activities to tourist attractions carried out voluntarily, temporarily, the whole or part of the trip aims to enjoy tourist attractions, especially the beauty of coastal and ocean pamorama . The purpose of this study aims to determine the suitability analysis of Pante Paku beach tourism, Pante Paku Village, Jangka District, Bireuen Regency. The method in this study used purposive sampling by collecting primary data at the research location in the form of travel suitability parameter data including; beach type, beach width, beach slope, coastal land cover, depth, bottom material, current velocity, water brightness, dangerous biota and fresh water availability. The results of the research on the tourism suitability index (IKW) obtained the results of measuring the parameters of the suitability of tourism 85.7%, which is a very suitable category (S1).
