Abstract

This research was carried out in the mini laboratory of the Seed Research Team, Kuta Blang Village, Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City, and the Agroecotechnology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Reuleut Village, Muara Batu District, North Aceh Regency. The time of this research was carried out in December-January 2024. This study uses a split plot design divided into 2 plots. The main plot is a different light color treatment namely: (White treatment, red treatment, blue treatment, yellowtreatment). The second factor is the plot of children, namely different seedling media treatments namely, (napkin wipes, towel wipes, and facial wipes) with three repetitions. The parameters observed were maximum growth potential, germination capacity, vigor index, growth speed, growth capacity, normal sprout dry weight, normal sprout root length, normal sprout length, and normal sprout wet weight. The light color treatment had a real effect on all benchmarks of viability and vigor of soybean seeds, yellow All light had the best effect. Meanwhile, the media treatment had no real impact on all benchmarks of viability and vigor of soybean seeds. Keywords: Light color, soybean seeds, seedling media
