Abstract

VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT ANALYSIS ON PUBLIC WEBSITES AND APPLICATIONS MANAGED BY DISKOMINFOTIK IN BANDA ACEH CITY ABSTRACT This research aims to conduct a vulnerability assessment analysis on public websites and applications managed by the Department of Communication, Informatics, and Statistics (Diskominfotik) in Banda Aceh City. Vulnerabilities in information systems can create opportunities for cyber-attacks that may compromise data integrity, confidentiality, and service availability. Therefore, this study focuses on the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of potential vulnerabilities that may arise in the digital infrastructure. The research methodology involves a holistic security analysis, including penetration testing, code analysis, and system configuration examination. Data obtained from this assessment will assist Diskominfotik in enhancing their system security and protecting the managed information. The research outcomes are expected to provide in-depth insights into existing vulnerability levels, along with concrete recommendations to address identified weaknesses. Thus, Diskominfotik in Banda Aceh can take proactive steps to secure their public websites and applications, enhance user trust, and ensure the continuous operational success of digital services.
