Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of Lecturer Support and Academic Self- Efficacy on Academic Achievement, with Academic Emotions serving as a mediating variable among the 2022 cohort of Management Study Program students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Malikussaleh University. This research employed a quantitative approach involving 73 respondentsselected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The findings indicate that Lecturer Support and Academic Self- Efficacy have positive and significant effects on both Academic Emotions and Academic Achievement. In addition, Academic Emotions have a positive and significant effect on Academic Achievement. The mediation analysis further reveals that Academic Emotions significantly mediate the relationships between Lecturer Support and Academic Achievement, as well as between Academic Self-Efficacy and Academic Achievement. These findings suggest that enhancing Lecturer Support and students' Academic Self-Efficacy can foster positive Academic Emotions, thereby improving students' Academic Achievement.
