Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) berbantuan LKPD terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada materi asam basa tahun 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan pre ekperimen yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Peudawa pada tanggal 14-20 januari 2021. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 20 peserta didik. Kelas eksperimen dalam perlakuannya menggunakan model Think Pair Share (TPS) berbantuan LKPD sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode konvesional dengan berbantuan LKPD. Desain penelitian ini adalah Posttest- Only Control Design. Instrument penelitian berupa soal tes dan angket aktivitas peserta didik. Hipotesis diuji menggunakan uji independent sample test. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif diperoleh hasil signifikan hasil belajar kognitif 2 tailed yaitu 0.065 ˃ 0,05. Dengan demikian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Think Pair Share (TPS) berbantuan LKPD terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan aktivitas peserta didik memberikan hasil dengan baik. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model assisted by LKPD to the activities and cognitive learning outcomes of students on acidbase material in 2021/2022. This research is a pre-experimental study conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Peudawa on January 14-20, 2021. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, namely class XI IPA 2 as the experimental class and class XI IPA 1 as the control class, totaling 20 students. The experimental class in its treatment uses the Think Pair Share (TPS) model assisted by LKPD while the control class uses the conventional method with the assistance of LKPD. The design of this research is PosttestOnly Control Design. The research instrument was in the form of test questions and student activity questionnaires. The hypothesis was tested using the independent sample test. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively. The results obtained significant results of 2 tailed cognitive learning, namely 0.065 ˃ 0.05. Thus, it shows that the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) model assisted by LKPD on cognitive learning outcomes and student activities gives good results.
