Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas susunan filter (ijuk, jerami padi dan ampas tebu) sebagai bahan filter pada pemeliharaan ikan mas koki (Carassius auratus). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan 14 Juni sampai 14 Juli 2025 yang bertempat di Laboratorium Hatchery dan Teknologi Budidaya, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Malikussaleh. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Adapun perlakuan pada penelitian ini secara rinci adalah sebagai berikut, Perlakuan A Ijuk (filter pada umumnya), Perlakuan B Ijuk, jerami padi, dan ampas tebu, Perlakuan C Jerami padi, ampas tebu, dan ijuk, Perlakuan D Ampas tebu, ijuk, dan jerami Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Efektifitas Susunan Filter (Ijuk, jerami padi, dan ampas tebu) pada pemeliharaan ikan mas koki (Carassius auratus) diperoleh, efektifitas Susunan Filter (Ijuk, jerami padi, dan ampas tebu) pada pemeliharaan ikan mas koki (Carassius auratus) memberi pengaruh nyata terhadap kualitas air, pertambahan panjang dan pertambahan berat, tetapi tidak berpengaruh untuk rasio konversi pakan dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup ikan. Hasil terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan C ,(jerami padi, ampas tebu dan ijuk) dengan nilai kualitas air suhu 26,16 OC, pH 7,18, do4,49 mg/L, pertambahan berat tertinggi pada perlakuan C nilai rata-rata 9,1 gram dan pertambahan panjang 14,66 cm. dan perlakuan terendah terdapat pada perlakuan D pertambahan berat 7,7gram dan pertambahan panjang 10,81 cm. Rasio konversi pakan terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan C dengan nilai rata-rata 1,10 gram dan perlakuan terendah terdapat pada perlakuan D yaitu 1,25 gram.Tingkat kelangsungan hidup terbaik terdapat pada semua perlakuan yaitu 100%. Kata Kunci: Ikan Mas Koki, Filter, Jerami, Ampas Tebu, Ijuk Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of filter arrangements (ijuk, rice straw, and bagasse) as filter materials in the maintenance of goldfish (Carassius auratus). This research was conducted from June 14 to July 14, 2025, at the Hatchery and Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Malikussaleh University. The design used in this study was a nonfactorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments in this study are as follows: Treatment A Ijuk (general filter), Treatment B Ijuk, rice straw, and bagasse, Treatment C Rice straw, bagasse, and ijuk, Treatment D Bagasse, ijuk, and rice straw. Based on the results of the research on the Effectiveness of Filter Arrangements (Ijuk, rice straw, and bagasse) in the maintenance of goldfish (Carassius auratus), it was found that the effectiveness of Filter Arrangements (Ijuk, rice straw, and bagasse) in the maintenance of goldfish (Carassius auratus) had a significant effect on water quality, length increase, and weight gain, but did not affect the feed conversion ratio and survival rate of fish. The best results were found in Treatment C (rice straw, bagasse, and ijuk) with water quality values of temperature 26.16 °C, pH 7.18, DO 4.49 mg/L, the highest weight gain in Treatment C with an average value of 9.1 grams and length increase of 14.66 cm. The lowest treatment was in Treatment D with a weight gain of 7.7 grams and length increase of 10.81 cm. The best feed conversion ratio was in Treatment C with an average value of 1.10 grams and the lowest treatment was in Treatment D, which was 1.25 grams.
