Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan tingkat agresivitas pada pemain judi online di Kecamatan Dewantara, Aceh Utara, berdasarkan empat aspek menurut teori Buss & Perry (1992): agresi fisik, agresi verbal, kemarahan, dan permusuhan. Dalam penelitian ini, pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan 385 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik insidental sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala agresivitas yang telah diuji untuk validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa agresi verbal adalah bentuk agresivitas yang paling dominan, diikuti oleh agresi fisik, kemarahan, dan permusuhan. Sebanyak 40% responden termasuk dalam kategori paling agresif, sedangkan 43,9% tergolong kurang agresif. Kelompok usia 21–40 tahun menunjukkan tingkat agresivitas tertinggi, dan laki-laki lebih mendominasi dalam mengekspresikan perilaku agresif dibandingkan perempuan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa tekanan emosional saat bermain judi online dapat mendorong munculnya perilaku agresif, terutama melalui ekspresi verbal. Kata Kunci : Agresivitas, Judi Online, Agresi Verbal ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the level of aggression among online gamblers in Dewantara District, North Aceh, based on four aspects according to Buss & Perry's theory (1992): physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger, and hostility. In this study, a descriptive quantitative approach was used, involving 385 respondents selected through incidental sampling. The instrument used was an aggression scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that verbal aggression was the most dominant form of aggression, followed by physical aggression, anger, and hostility. Approximately 40% of respondents were classified as the most aggressive, while 43.9% were classified as less aggressive. The 21–40 age group showed the highest level of aggression, and males were more dominant in expressing aggressive behavior than females. These findings suggest that emotional stress while playing online gambling can encourage aggressive behavior, especially through verbal expression.
