Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy of the Gelora Aceh Tamiang Party as a new party in taking advantage of political opportunities towards the 2024 Election. The phenomenon that occurs is that the Strategy of the Aceh Tamiang Gelora Party as a new party introduces itself as a new party to gain a mass base in gaining seats and use its strategy towards the 2024 election, the Gelora Party must convince the public that the party is indeed worthy of being elected and has renewals compared to political parties that have been established for a long time. The purpose of this study includes the strategy of the Aceh Tamiang Gelora Party as a new party in taking advantage of political opportunities towards the 2024 Election and the inhibiting factors Aceh Tamiang Gelora Party in conducting framing (framing process) in the community towards the 2024 Election. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, documentation. The result of the Gelora Party's strategy is to recruit members by running the ASIAB Gelora program (Invite Anyone to Join the Gelora). The Gelora Party does not only recruit, but also carries out sympathetic and empathetic activities to be able to encourage the community in various ways. With this regeneration is also the strategy of the Gelora Party in the economy. This is a big challenge for the Gelora Party to be able to counteract these problems so that people's perceptions are not always negative. In general, the Inhibiting Factors for the Aceh Tamiang Gelora Party in Doing the Framing Process are; Economic Factors, factors that will greatly influence every decision and choice of the community because they involve many things, especially the lives of people who are less prosperous so that the economy will be increasingly influential, because Gelora party must be able to provide ideas that are sustainable or continuous so that the people of Aceh Tamiang have hope to continue social life.
