Abstract

ABSTRAK Skripsi ini mengkaji tentang Respon Mahasiswa Terhadap Pro dan Kontra Pada Pemilihan Presiden 2024 (Studi Kasus Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Malikussaleh). Pemilihan umum presiden yang terjadi pada tahun 2024 menimbulkan reaksi dari berbagai kalangan masyarakat yang berpotensi menimbulkan konflik. Mahasiswa di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Malikussaleh memiliki pandangan yang kritis terhadap pemilihan umum presiden 2024. Mereka melihat dan memahami adanya pemicu terjadinya pro dan kontra terhadap perilaku politik dan konflik di masyarakat. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis respon pro dan kontra serta dan dampak yang terjadi di pemilihan presiden tahun 2024 pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Malikussaleh Landasan peneliti dalam menganalisis Respon Mahasiswa FISIP terhadap Pro dan Kontra Pada Pemilihan Presiden 2024 menggunakan Teori Konflik Lewis A Coser. dan menghubungkannya dengan 3 bagian respon yaitu dan respon konatif (tindakan). Temuan dari penelitian ini bahwa Pertama, Respon kognitif (pengetahuan) terkait pilpres 2024 bahwa mahasiswa secara keseluruhan memiliki pemahaman tentang visi misi calon paslon serta dapat menyikapi secara kritis dan menilai secara objektif setiap isu yang muncul. Kedua, Respon afektif (perasaan) secara umum hal tersebut tercermin dari gaya kampanye yang dilakukan oleh masing-masing paslon serta diri personal pasangan calon. Respon Konatif (Tindakan) tercermin dari keikutsertaan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu politik pada berbagai kegiatan politik, dengan ikut serta menjadi anggota kpps, menjadi bagian dari partai hingga ikut dalam proses kampanye politik pasangan calon presiden. Kata Kunci : Respon Mahasiswa, Pemilihan Presiden 2024, Konflik Lewis A Coser. ABSTRACT This thesis examines Student Responses to the Pros and Cons of the 2024 Presidential Election (Case Study of Students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Malikussaleh University). The presidential election that will take place in 2024 will cause reactions from various groups in society that have the potential to cause conflict. Students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Malikussaleh University have a critical view of the 2024 presidential election. They see and understand the triggers for the pros and cons of political behavior and conflict in society. This study focuses on the analysis of the pros and cons responses and the impacts that occurred in the 2024 presidential election on students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Malikussaleh University. The researcher's basis in analyzing the Response of FISIP Students to the Pros and Cons of the 2024 Presidential Election uses Lewis A Coser's Conflict Theory. and relates it to 3 parts of the response, namely and conative response (action). The findings of this study are that First, Cognitive response (knowledge) related to the 2024 presidential election that students as a whole have an understanding of the vision and mission of the candidate pairs and can respond critically and objectively assess each issue that arises. Second, Affective response (feelings) in general, this is reflected in the campaign style carried out by each candidate pair and the personal self of the candidate pair. Conative response (action) is reflected in the participation of students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences in various political activities, by participating as members of the KPPS, becoming part of the party to participating in the political campaign process of the presidential candidate pair.
