Abstract

ABSTRACT Implementation is one of the stages in the public policy process. The increasing population in Bukittinggi City encourages good population data recording because population data is very necessary in development planning and evaluation. The aim of this research is: To determine the community impact of reducing RT/RW main tasks and functions in Puhun Wall sub-district, Bukittinggi city and to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors. The type of research used is a descriptive type approach with qualitative analysis, with direct interviews with sources. The integrated population administration policy in this research is focused on basic KTP services which include: basic policies or regulations used, authority and responsibility of implementing organizations, service procedures for making population movement documents, administrative documents, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors for policy implementation. The results of the research show that the impact that occurs in reducing RT/RW main duties in accordance with the Implementation of Presidential Decree No. 96 of 2018 has both good and bad impacts, namely, the good impact is that by no longer taking formulas to RT/RW, people are no longer afraid to deal with problems. population, and the bad impact is, residents become individuals in the local RT/RW environment, increasing the burden of sub-district duties.
