Abstract

ABSTRAK Artritis merupakan suatu peradangan sendi akut atau kronis yang sering kali disertai dengan nyeri dan kerusakan struktural. Dampak yang ditimbulkan arthritis berbeda-beda. Meskipun tidak menimbulkan kematian secara langsung, namun arthritis dapat menimbulkan kecacatan bagi penderitanya. Dinas Kesehatan Aceh (2021) menyebutkan bahwa prevalensi Arthritis terdapat 113.633.000 kasus yang ditemukan. Tingginya angka kejadian arthritis menyebabkan meningkatnya penggunaan NSAID sebagai terapi simptomatik untuk mengurangi gejala nyeri dan kemungkinan meningkat pula penggunaan NSAID yang tidak tepat. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukannya penelitian mengenai gambaran terhadap penggunaan NSAID pada pasien arthritis yang sesuai dengan standar atau pendoman yang ditentukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Penggunaan Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID) pada Pasien Arthritis di Puskesmas Muara Batu Aceh Utara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan di Puskesmas Muara Batu Aceh Utara dengan sampel sebanyak 97 sampel dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pasien arthritis mayoritas berusia 57 tahun, jenis kelamin perempuan dan bekerja; jenis NSAID yang paling banyak diberikan adalah natirum diklofenak; ketepatan pemberian NSAID adalah tepat indikasi (100%), tepat rute pemberian (100%), tepat dosis (100%), tepat durasi (100%), dan tepat waktu pemberian (100%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah natrium diklofenak merupakan NSAID yang paling sering digunakan dan rasionalitas NSAID di Puskesmas Muara Batu Aceh Utara sudah tepat. The effects of arthritis vary. Although it does not cause death directly, arthritis can cause disability in sufferers. According to the Aceh Health Department (2021), the prevalence of arthritis is 113,633,000 cases. The high incidence of arthritis has led to increased use of NSAIDs as symptomatic therapy to reduce pain symptoms and may also result in improper use of NSAIDs. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the use of NSAIDs in arthritis patients in accordance with established standards or guidelines. The aim of this study is to determine the use of Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) in arthritis patients at the Muara Batu Health Center in North Aceh. This study is a descriptive study conducted at the Muara Batu Health Center in North Aceh with a sample size of 97 participants selected through purposive sampling. The results of the study indicate that the majority of arthritis patients are 57 years old, female, and employed; the most commonly prescribed NSAID was sodium diklofenak; the appropriateness of NSAID administration was appropriate indication (100%), appropriate route of administration (100%), appropriate dose (100%), appropriate duration (100%), and appropriate timing of administration (100%). The conclusion of this study is that sodium diklofenak is the most commonly used NSAID, and rationality of NSAIDs use at the Muara Batu Health Center in North Aceh is appropriate.
