Abstract

ABSTRACT Name : Tia Wardani Study Program: Economic Development Title : Analysis of Energy Policy Against Poverty in Indonesia This research aims to determine Energy Policy towards Poverty in Indonesia. This research uses secondary data and quantitative methods with time series data from 1970-2022 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Ministry of Resources and Minerals (KESDM). The model used in this research is the ARDL (Auto Regressive Distributed Lagged) model using the Eviews program. The results of this research show that there is cointegration where the Error Correction Term (ECT) value is -0.748041. In the short term, only the electricity variable has no effect on poverty, the fuel, electricity price and fuel price variables have a negative and significant effect on poverty. In the long term, the electricity variable has no effect on poverty, the electricity price and fuel price variables have a negative and significant effect on poverty, while fuel has a positive and significant effect on poverty.
