Abstract

ABSTRAK Mahyuni Br. Marpaung: Tindak Tutur Ilokusi pada Adat Perkawinan Masyarakat Batak Toba terhadap Penggunaan Umpasa di Kecamatan Aek Song-Songan, Kabupaten Asahan. Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia. FKIP Universitas Malikussaleh, 2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdapat dalam penggunaan umpasa pada adat perkawinan masyarakat Batak Toba di Kecamatan Aek Song-songan, Kabupaten Asahan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data yang digunakan mengandung jenis-jenis tinak tutur ilokusi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah perhata di Kecamatan Aek Song-songan, Kabupaten Asahan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah Observasi, teknik rekam, teknik simak, teknik catat dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan simpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan sebanyak tiga puluh empat data yang terbagi ke dalam jenis-jenis tindak tutur ilokusi, yaitu tindak tutur asertif berjumlah tiga data, tindak tutur direktif berjumlah delapan data, tindak tutur komisif berjumlah tiga data, tindak tutur ekspresif berjumlah sembilan belas data dan tindak tutur deklaratif berjumlah satu data. Marpaung: Illocutionary Acts of Speech in the Customary Marriage of the Toba Batak Community on the Use of Umpasa in Aek Song-Songan District, Asahan Regency. Indonesian Language Education Study Program. FKIP Malikussaleh University, 2025. This study aims to describe the types of illocutionary speech acts contained in the use of umpasa in the customary marriage of the Toba Batak community in Aek Song-songan District, Asahan Regency. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive research. The data used contains types of illocutionary speech acts. The data source of this research is perhata in Aek Song-songan District, Asahan Regency. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, recording techniques, listening techniques, note-taking techniques and interviews. Data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Based on the results of the study found a total of thirty-four data divided into types of illocutionary speech acts, namely assertive speech acts totaling three data, directive speech acts totaling eight data, commissive speech acts totaling three data, expressive speech acts totaling nineteen data and declarative speech acts totaling one data.
