Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of investment knowledge, financial literacy, financial efficacy, and risk perception on the investment interest of Generation Z in Lhokseumawe City. The research employed a quantitative method with an associative approach. A total of 100 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings reveal that, partially, all four independent variables—investment knowledge, financial literacy, financial efficacy, and risk perception—have a positive and significant effect on investment interest. These results indicate that Generation Z individuals with strong investment knowledge, high financial literacy, confidence in managing finances, and a rational perception of risk tend to have greater interest in investing. This research is expected to serve as a reference for young generations and relevant stakeholders in fostering investment interest from an early age.
