Abstract
Anemia merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang banyak dialami remaja putri. Berdasarkan data WHO tahun 2023 prevalensi anemia mencapai 30,7%, sedangkan di Asia Tenggara prevalensinya < 25% dan di beberapa negara tersebut mencapai 50% termasuk Indonesia. Data riskesdas tahun 2018 mencatat prevalensi anemia di Indonesia sebesar 32%, sedangkan di provinsi Aceh lebih tinggi yaitu 36,93%. Dinas Kesehatan kota Lhokseumawe melaporkan prevalensi anemia pada remaja putri sebesar 18,52% dengan angka tertinggi berada di SMP Kecamatan Blang Mangat yaitu 61,81%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media audiovisual terhadap pengetahuan remaja putri mengenai anemia di SMPN 11 Kota Lhokseumawe yang berada di wilayah angka kasus tertinggi. Desain penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimen tipe one group pretest-posttest. Populasi berjumlah 75 orang dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden berusia 13-14 tahun (82,7%) dan sebagian besar berada di kelas VII (54,7%). Sebelum intervensi, sebagian besar berpengetahuan sangat baik, namun sekitar seperempat dari populasi masih berpengetahuan kurang. Setelah diberikan edukasi media audiovisual, pengetahuan meningkat signifikan dengan nilai p <,001. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah media audiovisual berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan remaja putri mengenai anemia di SMPN 11 Kota Lhokseumawe. Kata Kunci: Anemia, Pengetahuan Remaja Putri, Media Audiovisual Anemia is a global health problem that is widely experienced by adolescent girls. According to WHO data in 2023, the prevalence of anemia reached 30.7%, while in Southeast Asia it was less than 25%, and in some countries, including Indonesia, it reached 50%. The 2018 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) reported that the prevalence of anemia in Indonesia was 32%, while in Aceh Province it was higher at 36.93%. The Lhokseumawe Health Office reported a prevalence of 18.52% among adolescent girls, with the highest rate in junior high schools in Blang Mangat Subdistrict, reaching 61.81%. This study aimed to determine the effect of audiovisual media on the knowledge of adolescent girls regarding anemia at SMPN 11 Lhokseumawe, which is located in the area with the highest case rates. The study design was a quasi experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The population consisted of 75 students selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire, and data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results showed that the majority of respondents were aged 13–14 years (82.7%) and most were in the seventh grade (54.7%). Before the intervention, most respondents had very good knowledge, although about a quarter still had poor knowledge. After the audiovisual education was provided, knowledge increased significantly with a p-value < .001. The study concludes that audiovisual media had a significant effect on improving the knowledge of adolescent girls about anemia at SMPN 11 Lhokseumawe.
