Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi Partai Nasional Demokrat (NasDem) dalam meningkatkan elektabilitas pada Pemilihan Legislatif tahun 2024 di Kabupaten Asahan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini memperoleh data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan berbagai pihak terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Partai NasDem menerapkan strategi langsung ke masyarakat melalui kegiatan sosial, pendekatan personal oleh calon legislatif, serta pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai alat kampanye yang efektif. Strategi turun ke bawah (turba) dan sinergi dengan tokoh lokal menjadi kunci dalam memperkuat kepercayaan publik. Meski menghadapi berbagai hambatan internal dan eksternal, NasDem berhasil memperoleh tiga kursi di DPRD Kabupaten Asahan, menunjukkan efektivitas strategi yang dijalankan. This study aims to analyze the strategy of the National Democrat Party (NasDem) in increasing electability during the 2024 Legislative Election in Asahan Regency, North Sumatra Province. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving relevant stakeholders. The findings reveal that NasDem implemented a direct approach to the community through social activities, personal outreach by legislative candidates, and the use of social media as an effective campaign tool. The “turba” (ground engagement) strategy and synergy with local figures played a key role in building public trust. Despite facing various internal and external obstacles, NasDem successfully secured three seats in the Asahan Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), demonstrating the effectiveness of the strategies employed.
