Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengkaji Gambaran Kesiapan Menikah Pada Dewasa awal di tengah Issue Marriage is Scary. Menikah di usia muda sudah menjadi budaya di Indonesia sejak dahulu namun yang terjadi saat ini angka pernikahan di Indonesia menurun secara signifikan, hal ini diyakini disebabkan oleh banyaknya generasi muda yang menunda pernikahan. Kesiapan menikah adalah persiapan pribadi setiap individu yang menunjukkan kematangan dalam berbagai aspek untuk memikul tanggung jawab dalam kehidupan berumah tangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan analisis univariat. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik incidental sampling.Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 385 orang dewasa awal yang berada di Aceh Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesiapan menikah pada dewasa awal di Aceh Utara tergolong siap dengan persentase 52,7% dan tidak siap 41,8%, di mana dewasa awal di Aceh Utara sudah menunjukkan kematangan dalam berbagai aspek dan siap memikul tanggung jawab dalam kehidupan berumah tangga (blood, 1978). KataKunci : Kesiapan Menikah, Dewasa Awal, Marriage is Scary, Aceh Utara   ABSTRACT This study examines the Picture of Readiness for Marriage in Early Adulthood amidst the Issue of Marriage is Scary. Getting married at a young age has been a culture in Indonesia since long ago, but what is happening now is that the number of marriages in Indonesia has decreased significantly, this is believed to be caused by the large number of young people who are postponing marriage. Readiness for marriage is the personal preparation of each individual who shows maturity in various aspects to bear the responsibility of married life. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with univariate analysis. The sampling technique used is the incidental sampling technique. The subjects used in this study were 385 early adults in North Aceh. The results of the study showed that readiness for marriage in early adulthood in North Aceh was classified as ready with a percentage of 52.7% and not ready 41.8%, where early adults in North Aceh had shown maturity in various aspects and were ready to bear the responsibility of married life (Blood, 1978).
