Abstract
ABSTRAK Kerang darah (Anadara granosa) hidup didaerah pasang surut dengan kondisi sedimen berupa lumpur dan lumpur berpasir. Reproduksi adalah kemampuan individu untuk menghasilkan keturunan dalam upaya melestarikan spesies atau kelompoknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis reproduksi berupa Tingkat kematangan gonad (TKG), kondisi morfometrik dan rendemen, serta kandungan logam berat Pb dan Zn dalam kerang darah yang berasal dari perairan pesisir Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Manfaat penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan produktifitas kerang darah melalui reproduksi agar mengoptimumkan dan melestarikan populasi kerang darah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi secara langsung dengan teknik pengambilan data dilakukan secara acak sederhana (purposive random sampling) dan analisis logam berat menggunakan metode Atomic Absorbtion Spectrophotometry (AAS). Analisis data dijelaskan secara deskriptif, uji statistik Two Way Anova terhadap morfometrik kerang darah, uji histologi gonad kerang darah dan uji regresi antara kandungan logam berat dengan bobot tubuh kerang darah. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ukuran cangkang di setiap stasiun berbeda dengan stasiun lainnya. Persentase rendemen terbesar pada jantan 22,80% dan betina 23,03%. Persentase jenis kelamin Jantan dan betina 2:1. Nilai logam berat timbal stasiun I 1,62 mg/kg, stasiun II 1,72mg/kg, stasiun III 1,64 mg/kg sedangkan nilai logam berat seng stasiun I 1,11 mg/kg, stasiun II 1,28 mg/kg, stasiun III 1,17 mg/kg. Berdasarkan penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pengukuran morfometrik tertinggi di stasiun 1 kecuali panjang cangkang pada jantan di stasiun 3 dan tebal cangkang pada jantan di stasiun 2. Sedangkan tertinggi pada betina di stasiun 3 dan terendah di stasiun 2. Status reproduksi kerang darah pada tingkat kematangan gonad didominasi oleh TKG I dan TKG II. Kandungan logam berat timbal tertinggi di stasiun 2 yaitu 1,72 mg/kg, sedangkan logam berat seng tertinggi di stasiun 2 yaitu 1,28 mg/kg. Disarankan perlu adanya penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai aspek reproduksi kerang darah di Kabupaten Aceh Utara, seperti fekunditas dan diameter telur pada musim yang berbeda. Reproduction is the ability of individuals to produce offspring in an effort to preserve the species or group. This study aims to analyze reproduction in the form of gonad maturity level (TKG), morphometric conditions and yields, and the content of heavy metals Pb and Zn in blood cockles originating from the coastal waters of North Aceh Regency. The benefits of this study are to increase the productivity of blood cockles through reproduction in order to optimize and preserve the blood cockle population. The method used in this study is direct observation with data collection techniques carried out by simple random sampling (purposive random sampling) and heavy metal analysis using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) method. Data analysis is explained descriptively, Two Way Anova statistical test on blood cockle morphometrics, histological test of blood cockle gonads and regression test between heavy metal content and blood cockle body weight The results showed that the size of the shell at each station was different from other stations. The largest yield percentage was in males 22.80% and females 23.03%. The percentage of male and female sex was 2:1. The lead heavy metal value at station I was 1.62 mg/kg, station II 1.72 mg/kg, station III 1.64 mg/kg while the zinc heavy metal value at station I was 1.11 mg/kg, station II 1.28 mg/kg, station III 1.17 mg/kg. Based on the study, it was concluded that the highest morphometric measurements were at station 1 except for the shell length in males at station 3 and the shell thickness in males at station 2. While the highest in females at station 3 and the lowest at station 2. The reproductive status of blood cockles at the gonad maturity level was dominated by TKG I and TKG II. The highest lead heavy metal content was at station 2, namely 1.72 mg/kg, while the highest zinc heavy metal was at station 2, namely 1.28 mg/kg. It is suggested that further research is needed on the reproductive aspects of blood cockles in North Aceh Regency, such as fecundity and egg diameter in different seasons.
