Abstract

ABSTRACT Name : Dwi Agustian Harahap Study Program : Medicine Title : Overview cardio pulmonary resuscitation knowledge level in emergencies of medical and nonmedical personnel in BLUD RSU Cut Meutia Aceh Utara, 2020 Caridiopulmonary resuscitation is provision must be prossessed by medical and nonmedical staffs to overcome emergency problems in hospital environment. Cardiac arrest is one of the leading causes of death in industrialized countries, which is increased more than 700,000 deaths in Europe and the United States each year. The first aid can be given CPR or Pulmonary Resuscitation. This study discusses knowledge of medical staff and nonmedical staff about cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergencies at Cut Meutia District Hospital, North Aceh. This study involved 102 respondents consisting of 72 medical staff and 30 nonmedical staff. From the results of the study obtained the highest medical knowledge is a good category with 65 people (90.3%) and th highest nonmedical knowledge is a good category with 17 people (56.7%), and each of them has been trainied of CPR. Medical staff with 6-10 years of service, and nonmedicalstaff with 1-5 years of work each have a good level of knowledge. Keywords : knowledge, medical staff, nonmedical staff
