Abstract

ABSTRAK RAUZATUL JANNAH : Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extanding (Core) Terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa Pada Materi Bilangan Bulat Di Kelas Vii SMP Negeri 1 Nisam Kecamatan Nisam Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Malikussaleh, 2025. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Nisam Kecamatan Nisam Kabupaten Aceh Utara, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang diajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extanding (CORE) lebih baik dari pada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang diajarkan melalui model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi Bilangan bulat di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Nisam. memungkinkan untuk mengontrol atau memanipulasikan semua variabel yang relevan. Pada penelitian ini digunakan eksperimen semu karena subjek tidak dikelompokkan secara acak tetapi peneliti menerima keadaan subjek seadanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. yang menjadi populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Nisam Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 128 siswa dari empat kelas. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian eksperimen semu ini yaitu The Non-Equivalent Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Instrumen penelitian adalah alat yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan data sehingga diketahui jawaban dari rumusan masalah. Perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan yaitu Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Adanya peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep secara signifikan pada kelas yang menggunakan model pemebelajaran kooperatif Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extanding (CORE) dibandingkan dengan kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Adanya peningkatan mengingat kembali konsep yang terdahulu sehingga pemahaman yang dimiliki sekarang mampu dikombinasikan sehingga siswa dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan secara baik dan terkonsep. Aktivitas guru dan siswa mengalami peningkatan disetiap minggunya, hal ini menunjukkan adanya progres yang baik disetiap awal pertemuan hingga akhir. This research was conducted in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Nisam, Nisam District, North Aceh Regency, the purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' mathematical concept understanding ability taught through the Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extanding (CORE) learning model is better than the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts taught through conventional learning models on Integer material in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Nisam. allows to control or manipulate all relevant variables. This study used a quasi-experiment because the subjects were not randomly grouped but the researcher accepted the condition of the subjects as they were. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Nisam in the 2018/2019 Academic Year, totaling 128 students from four classes. The design used in this quasi-experimental study was The NonEquivalent Post-Test Only Control Group Design. The research instrument is a tool used to obtain data so that the answer to the problem formulation is known. The learning tool used was the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). The study concluded that There was a significant increase in the ability to understand concepts in classes using the Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extanding (CORE) cooperative learning model compared to classes using conventional learning models.There was an increase in recalling previous concepts so that the current understanding could be combined so that students could solve problems well and conceptually. Teacher and student activities increased every week, this shows good progress from the beginning of each meeting to the end.
