Abstract

This research was carried out at the Baithul Qiradh Baburrayan Cooperative. The quality control of Arabica coffee at KBQ Baburrayyan still faces quality problems such as still not implementing SOP, still using chemical fertilizers that can damage quality. So that there is a risk of returning products when exported. The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that affect the quality of Arabica coffee and to examine the efforts that can be made related to quality control at KBQ Baburrayyan. The data analysis method used is qualitative using Pareto Diagram, Fishbone Diagram, and Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) analysis tools which are carried out to find out what factors affect the quality of Arabica coffee and what control efforts can be made related to quality control at KBQ Baburrayyan. The results of this study show that KBQ Baburrayyan has a deffect value of 0.63% obtained from the results of the calculation of the pareto diagram. The existence of perforated, flaky, and young seeds is seen in the fishbobe diagram, so that it gets an RPN value of 150 from the results of the FMEA calculation. Where it can be concluded that this value needs further supervision and needs to be the initial priority to be overcome. Keywords: Arabica Coffee, SCA Standards, Quality Control
