Abstract

ABSTRAK Mikroalga Spirulina sp merupakan salah satu jenis Cyanobacteria alga hijau biru yang mudah dikembangbiakkan dibandingkan jenis mikroalga lainnya karena reproduksinya mudah dan memiliki produktifitas yang tinggi. Menurut Robi (2014) Spirulina sp. mengandung protein 60-71%, lemak 8%, karbohidrat 16%. Selain itu, menurut Pramono et al. (2018), mikroalga jenis ini mampu menghasilkan lipid pada kondisi lingkungan yang ekstrim sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan biodiesel, dikarenakan hasil kandungan lipid pada Spirulina sp. berkisar antara 24,8-46%. Salah satu permasalahan dalam kultivasi massal mikroalga adalah produksi biomassa dan lipid yang dihasilkan masih rendah. Selain itu, penggunaan media pupuk konvensional yang memiliki harga yang relatif mahal. Salah satu solusi untuk menekan biaya produksi adalah dengan media alternatif yang bisa digunakan seperti pupuk organik yang berasal dari kotoran kambing. Penelitian ini bertujuan agar mengetahui produksi biomassa, kandungan lipid yang dikultivasi dalam kotoran kambing serta mengetahui produksi biodiesel yield dan kualitas biodiesel. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal Bulan November sampai Januari 2022. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Hatchery dan Teknologi Budidaya Program Studi Akuakultur Fakultas Pertanian Univeritas Malikussaleh. Penelitian juga dilakukan di Laboratorium Kimia Analis Politeknik Negeri Lhokseumawe. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan analisa statistika deskriptif. Hasil penelitian disajikan dan disimpulkan tanpa menafsirkan data. Penelitian ini mengambil hasil terbaik dari penelitian sebelumnya berupa media kotoran ternak terbaik. Hasil pada penelitian ini memperoleh biomassa kering sebanyak 11.873 gr dengan rata rata biomassa kering yang dihasilkan 1.533g/L dan kandungan lipid 24,88 gr. Biodiesel Yield yang diperoleh 0,67 gr, dengan persentase 2,69 %. dan hasil uji kualitas biodiesel maupun kandungan senyawa yang teringgi yaitu Heneicocane dengan persentase 26,40%. ABSTRACT Spirulina sp microalgae is a type of Cyanobacteria blue-green algae which is easy to breed compared to other types of microalgae because of its easy reproduction and high productivity. (2018), this type of microalgae is capable of producing lipids under extreme environmental conditions so that it can be used as a raw material for making biodiesel, due to the lipid content in Spirulina sp. ranged from 24.8-46%. One of the problems in the mass cultivation of microalgae is the low production of biomass and lipids. In addition, the use of conventional fertilizer media which has a relatively expensive price. One solution to reduce production costs is alternative media that can be used, such as organic fertilizers derived from goat manure. This study aims to determine biomass production, lipid content cultivated in goat manure and to determine biodiesel yield and biodiesel quality. This research was conducted from November to January 2022. The research was conducted at the Hatchery and Cultivation Technology Laboratory of the Aquaculture Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Malikussaleh. Research was also conducted at the Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic Analyst Chemistry Laboratory. The research design uses descriptive statistical analysis. Research results are presented and concluded without interpreting the data. This study took the best results from previous studies in the form of the best livestock manure media. The results in this study obtained a dry biomass of 11,873 gr with an average dry biomass produced of 1,533g/L and a lipid content of 24.88 gr. The yield of biodiesel obtained was 0.67 gr, with a percentage of 2.69%. and the results of the biodiesel quality test and the highest compound content, namely Heneicocane with a percentage of 26.40%.
