Abstract
ABSTRAK NUR ROUZATUL JANNAH: Pengaruh Pembelajaran STEAM Berbasis PjBL (Project Based Learning) Terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis dan Kolaborasi Peserta Didik Pada Materi Larutan Penyangga. Progam Studi Pendidikan Kimia FKIP Universitas Malikussaleh, 2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan STEAM Berbasis PjBL (Project Based Learning) Terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis dan Kolaborasi Peserta Didik Pada Materi Larutan Penyangga. Yang dilaksanakannpada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025 di kelas XII-3 dan XII-8 di SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperiment (eksperimen semu) dengan pendekaatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian adalah purposive sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas XII-8 sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 35 peserta didik dan XII-3 sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 33 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan soal essay dan lembar observasi. Tes dilakukan di awal (pretest) dan akhir (posttest) pada kelas ekperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pengisian lembar observasi oleh observer dilakukan pada setiap pertemuan yaitu pada pertemuan 1-3 di kelas ekperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan Mann-Whitney, diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0.004 < 0,05 pada pretest, postest dan diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,001 < 0,05 pada hasil kolaborasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pendekatan STEAM berbasis PjBL (Project Based Learning) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kolaborasi peserta didik pada materi larutan penyangga sehingga pendekatan STEAM berbasis PjBL (Project Based Learning) mampu berkontribusi secara positif terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kolaborasi dan mampu mendorong peserta didik beradaptasi serta terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. This research aims to determine the effect of the PjBL-Based STEAM approach (Project Based Learning) Regarding Students' Critical Thinking and Collaboration Skills on Buffer Solution Material. This research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year in classes XII-3 and XII-8 at SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe. The type of research used is like an experiment (quasi-experiment) with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique in research is purposive sampling. The sample in this study was class XII-8 as an experimental class with 35 students and XII-3 as a control class with 33 students. The data collection technique uses questions essay and observation sheet. The test is carried out at the beginning (pretest) and end (posttest) in the experimental class and control class. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the PjBL-based STEAM approach (Project Based Learning) on students' critical thinking and collaboration skills on buffer solution material so that the PjBL-based STEAM approach (Project Based Learning) able to contribute positively to critical thinking and collaboration skills and able to encourage students to adapt and be actively involved in the learning process.
