Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to increasa the yield of sweet corn (Zea Mays Saccharat Sturt) production is by using bioferlitizer chiken manure and nitrogen fertilizer application. This research was conducted in deng village, Tanah Luas Regency which has a flat topography with a height of ± 3 m above sea level from February 2019 to Mai 2019, and continued with analysi at the Agroecotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Malikussaleh University. The experimtal design used was a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) and the treament design was arranged factually 4×3 with 3 replications. The research data shows that the use of nitrogen fertilizer has a very significant influence on plant height, number of leaver and weight of ear without an ear. As for the treatment of chicken manure giving a very significant influrnce on plant height and diameter, and length of corn cob without cornhusk. There is interaction on the parameters of plan height, diameter of length without cornhusk due to the application of nitrogen fertilizer and chiken manure.
