Abstract

ABSTRACK The research was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, Malikussaleh University, using a factorial completely randomized design (crd) with two factors: growing media type (M0 = cocopeat; M1 = rice husk charcoal + soil + eco-enzyme; M2 = soil + sand + NPK) and vegetable type (mustard greens, lettuce, spinach), resulting in 27 experimental units. Observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, root length, fresh weight, and root weight per plot. The results indicated that the growing media type, vegetable type, and their interaction had significant to highly significant effects on almost all parameters. Medium M2 (soil + sand + NPK) produced the greatest plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight, and root weight, whereas the cocopeat medium (M0) excelled in root length. Mustard greens (J1) exhibited the best vegetative growth. The optimal combination was found in the M2J1 treatment (soil + sand + NPK with mustard greens).
