Abstract

Mangosteen is one of Indonesia’s horticultural commodities with export potential, with Malaysia being one of its destination countries. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the export value of Indonesian mangosteen to Malaysia, namely mangosteen production, Malaysian inflation, Malaysian Industrial Production Index (IPI), and the Rupiah exchange rate against the United States Dollar. This study uses quarterly secondary data from 2013–2025 and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that mangosteen production has a negative and significant effect, Malaysian inflation has a negative but insignificant effect, Malaysian IPI has a negative and significant effect, while the Rupiah exchange rate has a positive and significant effect on the export value of Indonesian mangosteen to Malaysia.
